“Academy Day” hosted by Congressman Alan Nunnelee is November 5th from 9:00AM until noon at Lafayette County High School. Students interested in attending and students who would entertain the possibility of attending a Service Academy are encouraged to attend. Students in the 9th through 12th grades are the target audience but the younger a student begins to prepare to apply the better. Highly interested middle School students may also attend. A student honored with an appointment to a Service Academy benefits from an education worth in access of $250,000 at no personal expense to the student or his or her family.
